OUR MISSION

The Mission of CME Consultants is to help physicians help patients by providing continuing medical education (CME) consulting services to hospitals and other health care organizations.  Our goal is to help health care organizations acquire and maintain CME accreditation.

OUR SERVICES

ORGANIZING AND MAINTAINING AN ACCREDITED CME PROGRAM

CME Consultants can become your own part time CME Coordinator.  You will not have to worry about teaching, or taking your staff off their regular duties to do CME, nor worry if they leave their positions and you have to start all over again training someone new.

INITIAL CMA OR ACCME CATEGORY 1 ACCREDITATION

CME Consultants can guide an organization through the process of establishing a track record that will qualify for a new accreditation.  We will also educate your staff, prepare the accreditation applications for you, and attend the  survey with you.

JOINT PROVIDERSHIP

Don’t want to manage your own accreditation – think JOINT PROVIDERSHIP.
CME Consultants is accredited by the ACCME and can award AMA PRA Category 1 Credit to its own CME activities, as well as provide credit to another organization’s activities.  If you are interested in getting your CME activities accredited, please email priscilla@cmeconsultants.com
 

PROGRESS REPORT

CME Consultants can guide an organization through the Interim Report process and writing.  Don’t wait until the last minute to do this.  Some changes take months to follow through to show improvement.

CMA OR ACCME PRE-SURVEY FINDINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

CME Consultants will do a site visit, review existing CME records, and if necessary make recommendations for better compliance to criteria so you are ready to apply for your next accreditation.  Ideally, you should make required changes 6 months to 1 year before your application for re-accreditation is due.

PROBATION STATUS REVERSAL

CME Consultants can guide an organization out of probation status back into a four year accreditation.

CME PERSONNEL TRAINING

CME Consultants can provide onsite training of CME Coordinator or Medical Staff Coordinator and/or provide group education.

Accredited CME Provider

CME Consultants is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education

Judy Hyle, CHCP is CEO of CME Consultants. She founded CME Consultants in May of 1981.
She is also Co-Founder and Past President of the Southern California Medical Education Council (SCMEC).
